DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF CABIN CREW MANAGER
Cabin Crew Manager shall be or had been an active Cabin Crew in Charge (CIC). Before being appointed he shall prove thorough and comprehensive knowledge of airline cabin crew regulations, requirements and procedures. He reports to the Flight Operations Director. Apart from flying duties he shall commit at least one duty day per week to office duties.

- Establish cabin operational procedures which shall ensure the safety of cabin, passengers and cabin crew and be passenger service oriented;
- Ensure the exchange of information and experience within Cabin Crew Department and with interfacing departments;
- Achieve set goals and objectives needed to elevate productivity and enhance performance in the area of cabin crew management;
- Process cabin related occurrence reports and other reports;
- Manage and supervise Cabin Crew roster;
- Keep up-to-date on cabin service related developments;
- Pre-plan (by analysing present and future operations) the number of cabin crew required and provide such data, in due time, to the Flight Operations Director;
- Manage, coordinate and supervise all cabin safety and service related activities in the Company;
- Effectively conduct service training curriculums for cabin crew members, in response to the specified service policies, procedures and requirements;
- Participate in regular assessments of the safety of the aeroplane cabin installations and to recommend improvements;
- Establish check and training syllabi and procedures for cabin crew;
- Ensure that all information provided in Cabin Crew Manual is in accordance with OM Parts A, B and D;
- To define, publish and enforce maintenance of standard cabin equipment layout;
- Conduct inspection flights in order to track the professional standard of cabin crew;
- Request the Flight Operations Director to call a hearing, when such action seems appropriate, and to cooperate in the resulting investigation;
- Ensure that training and checking cycles of cabin crew are being conducted in due time;
- Cooperate in improving technical installations in the cabin, passenger safety and comfort, and in improving the on-board service;
- Enforce Flight and Duty Time Limitations and Rest Requirements, while supervising cabin crew roster;
- Hold editorial responsibility of Cabin Crew Manual (CCM);
- Request additional training for cabin crew as necessary;
- Investigate cabin related irregularities and to recommend remedial action to the Flight Operations Director;
- Plan and manage a cabin crew leave roster;
- Properly manage all expenditures associated with the area of responsibility.
