HUMAN FACTORS MANAGER (HFM)

He is to ensure company compliance and strict observations of all regulations, standards and procedures with regards to human factors related issues, and is responsible to enhance safety in Human Factors through aviation safety programmes.

His functions, duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Deliver technical and/or CRM related courses to crew ensuring all participants meet the required standards as per the Company’s training policies.
  • Conduct professional development activities such as reading documents and researches; attend courses and conferences in order to keep up to date with developments in ground training.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) on a regular basis in order to ensure existing course material is relevant and meets the learners’ needs as well as the need of the operations Section.
  • Design, develop, and review training courses and materials in order to meet training needs and enhance training delivery in compliance with national and international regulations.
  • Provide constructive feedback and counselling to trainees on matters related to their ability to meet instructional objectives in order to guide them to the required standards.
  • Evaluate Crew’s technical and/or CRM skills and performance.
  • Facilitate constructive training of technical and/or CRM issues.
